Apollo Beach is an older, predominantly residential community which is experiencing a growth spurt. As a result, it has character and freshness. The citizens of Apollo Beach have spent the last year meeting with Hillsborough County officials to help them identify the needs of the community and establish a clear direction for continued growth. The County, along with Apollo Beach residents, is planning and directing the growth of the area to ensure it will enhance the community.

This thriving little community is located on Tampa Bay just 12 miles southeast of Tampa. It has two major roads running north and south, HWY 41 and I-75 making Tampa and the Brandon Town Center both within easy access. Apollo Beach has a number of retail establishments, but what cannot be found here is available just down the road.

Though it is a small community, it boasts several nature preserves, Bullfrog Creek Scrubs, Wolf Branch, Noonan Branch, and Apollo Beach Nature Park. It has two parks, E.G. Simmons and Apollo Beach Park both enjoyed by the community’s citizens.
